What is Dolomite?
Dolomite is a sedimentary rock composed of calcium magnesium carbonate – CaMg(CO₃)â‚‚.
It usually appears white, gray, or pink and is similar to limestone, but contains more magnesium.

How is it Extracted?
Dolomite is typically extracted through open-pit mining in large blocks.
After extraction, the material is crushed, screened, and ground into different particle sizes.
For high-purity applications, beneficiation and washing processes may also be applied.

Available Sizes

Crushed stone / aggregate: 5–60 mm

Dolomite powder: 0–1 mm or micronized powder

Block stone: Large cut blocks for construction or decorative use

Industries & Applications
Dolomite is a versatile raw material used in multiple industries:

Steel industry: As a flux in blast furnaces

Glass production: Improves strength and transparency

Agriculture: Used as dolomitic lime to neutralize soil acidity

Chemical industry: Source of magnesium oxide (MgO)

Construction: Road base, concrete aggregate, decorative stone
